Mrs. Short immigrated to Canada from Korea in 1975. After marrying and starting a family, she embarked on a new journey by founding her own cookie company.
Mrs. Short has an honest and positive attitude. These traits, along with her cute smile and matching accent are what make her so special and so loved.
In addition to being a successful entrepreneur, Mrs. Short still finds time to explore some of her other talents and passions.
Many people who have had the pleasure of hearing Mrs. Short sing know that she is extremely talented vocally. She has trained with top vocal coaches and can reach the high notes of a soprano singer.
Lending her talents too many events through personal invitations is not an uncommon occurrence. From singing at a Toronto Maple Leafs game, to traveling to New York City and singing at a grand Thanksgiving celebration, Mrs. Short takes great pleasure in sharing her voice and seeing the emotions emanate from people’s faces.
Mrs. Short also takes great pride in donating her time and talents to charitable events across the globe. Recently she was one of the performers featured on the “Super Stars” music compilation CD for one of the Sick Kids Hospital fundraising events. In 2008 she traveled to Cambodia & Thailand for missionary work with her church organization.
Mrs. Short is an active member of The Korean Canadian Women’s Association and The Sansamo Hiking Group that meets every week to explore the Bruce Trails. Other hobbies include golfing, riding her bike and spending time with family.
